Making Sense of Numbers during COVID-19
With a lot of change coming about with regards to income and managing ceased trade effectively, I have created a blog series to share with you my understanding of the situation and help steer you in the direction of the correct support to keep your business afloat.
The information shared in this series of blog posts is purely my understanding from what has been discussed both on HMRC and throughout my network of people within the industry. HMRC has said it will do things to help, although it’s not all set up yet things are getting sorted out.
Although I hate to say it, The Government has a lot in place to support us small business owners.
HMRC don’t often speak this clearly to the lay person BUT during stressful times it may be difficult to make sense of it all.
I am reminded of the quote:
‘I’m from The Government and I am here to help’.
Folks, from all I have read, they are listening to us and responding, they really are. It’s tough at the moment and I can’t tell you it’s not, businesses will fold, people will lose their jobs BUT there is hope and the government is trying its best to support us.
